Haven’t found the perfect Arduino shield for your project? Make your own! Place any necessary components in the Proto Shield holes and solder. To connect to an Arduino, use pin headers or end-to-end stackable pin headers.
The layout is compatible with the standard Arduino Rev3, and the holes have a diameter of 2.54 mm. All Arduino pins have duplicate adjacent holes to make connections easier.
In the middle, we implemented shared buses and grounds, and most of the holes are grouped into 3 pins. All this minimizes the number of jumper cables needed when assembling your own custom circuit.
On the board, we have also added a pad for the surface mounting of microcircuits and 5 holes with a diameter of 3.5 mm for mounting terminal blocks.
