This line of 40 × 1 pin connectors is useful for connecting different connectors and boards with holes that use the standard distance of 2.54 mm (0.1″).
The header can be broken into several pieces to get the number of contacts required.
In most cases, the standard height of 6 mm (¼ inch) is enough for any project. These headers are great to use as a connector on a breadboard.
However, in some cases, when above a board with high protruding components like a relay or RJ45 connector, you may need taller pins. For that, try these long pin headers.
