At the heart of the device is a cylinder around which an induction coil is wound. If a voltage is applied to the coil, a magnetic field will be induced inside the cylinder. This field will pull the rod inside the coil, craeting mechanical work. As soon as the current disappears, the spring will move the rod back to its original position.
To operate the solenoid, apply a constant current of 1 A. We do not recommend holding this load for more than a minute; the solenoid will begin to heat up and may cause damage.
Stem departure is adjustable within 5 mm. For this, a thread is cut on the shank and a lock nut is provided.
Solenoids are triggered when a current of 1 A appears, so they cannot be connected to the control board directly. To use the module in projects with Arduino or Iskra you will need a power switch or relay.
